About Us

Acquired by Barceló Hotel Group in 2015,  the Occidental Vacation Club, initially Allegro Vacation Club, began selling vacation club memberships in 1993 with the vision of developing a different, innovative product that would appeal to the most demanding vacationer.

The dedication to providing unforgettable vacations to couples and families has signified constant growth to the Club and a very satisfied owner community of over 30,000 members. Being part of a full scale all-inclusive resort company,  allows our Club to provide a membership with high service levels and amenities including: a fully stocked bar in the room, members lounge, private restaurants and exclusive beach areas, depending on the resort.

Occidental Vacation Club enjoy a flexible program that allows for multiple uses during the year, any day arrival in four and five star resorts located mostly in the Caribbean, Mexico and Costa Rica, with the recent addition of the Barceló Hotels and Resorts plus an ample list of affiliated hotels offered in association with RCI, ICE and Diamond Resorts.

Dear Members;

At Occidental Vacation Club we know how hard you work. We also know that vacation time is an important priority. A good holiday will recharge your body and soul, allow you to spend time with those that love you and for whom you exist.

For over 15 years the Occidental Vacation Club (previously named Allegro Vacation Club) has been providing timeshare memberships in properties located in the Caribbean, Mexico, Costa Rica and Europe.

We feel that our Club has to deliver a vacation experience of exceptional quality. It all starts with assigning ONE specific customer service agent to work for the same member. This allows for a personalized and individualized relationship. In time the agent is familiar with the member’s needs and vacation style resulting in a richer vacation experience with less hassle; and ready to deliver the product a team of dedicated Guest Service agents in every Club property provides members with on the spot attention.


Our personal and corporate guarantee that if your reserved unit is for any time or any reason not available assures our members full compensation for wasted time.

Our Properties are mostly full service all inclusive beach resorts. Within these wonderful hotels the Club carves out a preferential location (usually with ocean views). In this location we build members-only areas such as First Club Lounge, Grand Level member’s only restaurant and private beach sections.
